Young Philanthropy provides 9th-12th grade teens with a unique opportunity to make a difference in our community. Through a series of four sessions, participants will visit various charitable organizations, hear inspirational speakers and learn the value of giving through direct action. Students also learn skills in making wise philanthropic decisions. Young Philanthropy supports a wide variety of charitable organizations including Arrive in Kenya, Jewish World Watch, the International Princess Project, Heritage Pointe, and Chai Lifeline just to name a few. This program is offered in part with the Jewish Community Foundation of Orange County. All participating students receive 16 hours of community service upon completion of all 4 workshops.
