Irvine High School Jewish Club Welcomes Holocaust Survivor

Club1

More than 400 students, parents and faculty attended OUR FIRST HIGH SCHOOL CLUB EVENT at Irvine High School.  Jewish Student Connection and The Jewish Club of Irvine High School sponsored the event.  It was a captivating evening and there were moments of sheer awe when our survivor recounted his ordeal during one of the most horrendous moments of human history.

We look forward to bringing more events like these to our High School Jewish Clubs to benefit the education and awareness of Orange County citizens of all faiths and nationalities.

First Young Philanthropy Meeting at Heritage Pointe

BJEOCYP4

Our Young Philanthropists spent the day at Heritage Pointe on Sunday, October 11th. They had the opportunity to begin thinking about what it means to be a philanthropist. They also had the very special experience of conversing with residents of Heritage Pointe and learning about their incredible lives. Our next Young Philanthropy meeting is on Sunday, October 18th at the Merage JCC. For more details, check out http://www.bjeoc.org/programs/teens/young-philanthropy/

2015 Summer Event: Chillin and Grillin

chillingrillinBOJEOC

Our first-ever summer event, Chillin’ & Grillin’, was held last week and it was a huge success! 35 teens joined together for barbecue, swimming, Frisbee, volleyball and much more! They even had the chance to enjoy the sunset overlooking Orange County. Our teens spending time together over the summer was such a pleasure and we hope to create a new tradition! This event was provided free of charge thanks to our generous hosts, the Lean family, who held the event at their home. If you are interested in hosting an event during the summer or the school year, please contact Becca at [email protected] or 949.435.3450 x328.
