TIES 2012
Trips @ TALIT Nation

June 24 – July 23, 2012

The Bureau of Jewish Education is happy to announce that TIES (Teens Israel Experience Summer), is taking place from June 24th through July 23th, 2012!  The Bureau of Jewish Education is once again partnering with Alexander Muss High School in Israel to create an Israel trip where your Jewish roots will come alive while you swim, snorkel, hike, and climb your way through Israel with other Jewish 10-12th graders like yourself! Why is this experience different than most Israel trips?  On most teen tours, you live off of a bus, unpacking and packing your luggage every few nights.  TIES is a dorm-based program affording you the luxury of living on the gorgeous campus in Hod Hasharon, Israel (near Tel Aviv).  You also benefit from their secure campus environment, access to internet, laundry facilities, their trained nursing staff, and a variety of social events for all the summer high school groups in residence.  Our TIES trip helps teens discover their ancestry by investigating the history of the ancient land, and exploring the culture of Israel with experienced educational guides.

Schedule of information sessions for parents and teens to learn more about our 4-week adventure are as follows:

Tuesday, November 29

6:30 p.m. @ Temple Beth El, Aliso Viejo

Tuesday,
December 6

7:30 p.m. @ Temple Beth David, Westminster

Tuesday, December 13 6:30 p.m. @ Congregation Shir Ha Ma a'lot, Irvine

Sunday,

If you happen to have missed one of these information sessions and would like information/have questions about TIES, please contact Sheri at the Bureau of Jewish Education, 949-435-3450 x329, or email [email protected]

This trip will be offered again in the summer of 2014.
