About the Bureau

The mission of the Bureau of Jewish Education is to ensure that everyone in our community can find a path to meaningful and engaging Jewish learning.

We celebrate the fact that almost 10,000 Jewish youth in Orange County have experienced at least one of our youth programs, and religious school teachers and principals engage in formal Jewish study for a minimum of 16 hours each year.  Not surprisingly, we have earned a reputation as one of the most innovative bureaus in the country. We are a beneficiary agency of the Jewish Federation of Orange County.

The hallmarks of the Bureau are:

• Quality Youth Programs designed to explore Jewish identity and to train teen leaders
• Warm and welcoming Jewish learning opportunities for all ages
• A unifying force for Jewish education in Orange County
