Pat received his degrees from cross-town rivals with a Bachelors degree in Economics from UCLA (1973) and a Masters of Business Taxation from USC (1981).

His accounting career began with Hughes Helicopters and after two years he entered Public Accounting, including three years with a big 6 firm. Pat began with this firm in 1981 and became a partner in 1983.

Pat lives in Irvine with his wife and three sons . Two of his sons are in college.  His free time is spent coaching soccer and watching a lot of basketball and soccer (go Woodbridge Warriors Basketball)...when he's not volunteering with the Bureau or the Jewish Community Foundation, where he is Treasurer.
