BJE CEO/Executive Director Job AdvertisementORANGE COUNTY BUREAU OF JEWISH EDUCATION SEEKS CEO We are a pluralistic community organization founded in 1978 dedicated to creating a community for youth engaged in exploring and defining for themselves the meaning of being a Jew in the world. Located in Orange County, California, we have just completed a strategic planning process and have a unique opportunity for a creative person to lead us into a bright future. With the retirement of our current CEO, the second in our history, we are beginning the next phase of our existence. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Jewish Education and capable of turning passion into action. The successful candidate will have a master’s degree in Jewish education, communal service, or related fields and a minimum of three years of management experience in Jewish communal organizations. S/he will have strong relationship-building skills, demonstrated leadership ability, administrative acumen and an aptitude for fund-raising. The CEO is responsible for ensuring that all of the functions of the agency are carried out, including: administration, fund raising, community outreach and program development.
